Though labeled as "Vin de France," this wine comes from organically and biodynamically farmed parcels just outside the strict appellation boundaries in Burgundy, near the Côte de Beaune. Armand Heitz has been producing elegant, terroir-driven wines since taking over his family’s historic vineyards in 2011.
100% Chardonnay, grown on clay-limestone soils with a focus on minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar.
Fresh and lively with bright acidity. Notes of lemon zest, white peach, green apple, and a hint of almond and leesy texture. Subtle oak adds depth without overwhelming the fruit. Medium-bodied and clean, perfect with seafood or light poultry dishes.
