Founded in 1870 by the noble Pizzini family, Barone Pizzini is one of Franciacorta’s oldest estates and the first in the region to fully embrace organic farming, a shift made in the mid-1990s to promote biodiversity and terroir expression.

Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, and Pinot Bianco from 25 organically farmed estate vineyards at 200–300m elevation, averaging 20 years old, on morainic and glacial river deposit soils. Grapes harvested in August, gently pressed, fermented in stainless steel for six months, then aged 20–30 months on natural lees before disgorgement.

Bright, fine mousse with aromas of pear, stone fruit, citrus, and white flowers. Mineral-driven with subtle spice, balanced richness, and a crisp, clean finish.
