A truly elite cuvee hailing from the storied caves of Champagne Bollinger in the renowned village of Aÿ. Bollinger is one of the few remaining independent Champagne houses. Family-managed since 1889, Bollinger continues to produce some of the most highly acclaimed and widely celebrated Champagnes in the world.
71% pinot noir and 29% chardonnay. Aged 3 years and six months on the lees with cork. 3 grams dosage.
Lively, complex, and medium to full-bodied. Aromas of raw pie crust, almonds, dried apples, apricots, and pineapple, with hints of grilled fruits. Tangy, and energetic, with high acidity and creamy tannins. Flavors are rich, lightly oxidized, with ginger, spices, salinity, and a touch of bitterness on the finish.
