A family-run, organic estate in southeastern Sicily, led by sisters Marilina and Federica Paternò. Founded by their father, Angelo, after decades of winemaking across the island, the estate spans 60 hectares near Pachino in Siracusa. Nearly half the land is reserved for polyculture to support biodiversity, while the vineyards focus on native Sicilian varieties and low-intervention, natural winemaking.
100% Nero d’Avola. Hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks. Aged 8 months in concrete, followed by 3 months in bottle. No fining or filtration, with minimal added SO₂.
Aromas of wild berries, dried herbs, blood orange, and crushed stones. Flavors of juicy red plum, tart cherry, savory spice, and earthy minerality with a bright, supple finish.
