Domaine Nerantzi is a new and exciting organic producer near the border of Macedonia and Thrace in northern Greece. The vineyards stand east-facing at nearly 1000 feet on moderately calcareous sandy loam where ancient pottery is also buried.

100% Assyrtiko grown organically and fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged in stainless steel tanks. 

Floral and somewhat fruity on the nose with aromas of citrus oil and marzipan. Flavors of lemon peel. green apple, honey, mineral, and a hint of green olive. Great acidity with traces of salinity on the dry, long finish.
