Du Grappin is the Beaujolais-focused project of Jane Eyre and Andrew Nielsen, sourcing fruit from small growers and vinifying with low intervention. Their aim is to capture purity, freshness, and the lively, old-vine character of the crus.
From steep, volcanic blue-granite slopes in Côte de Brouilly, this Gamay is hand-harvested, partially whole-cluster, and fermented with native yeasts before aging in neutral vessels to preserve tension and mineral detail.
Bright and energetic, showing crunchy red cherry, pomegranate, violets, and wet stone. Silky and lifted, with a spicy, mineral finish. Ideal with charcuterie, roast chicken, or mushroom rice noodles.
