A benchmark expression of Barbera from one of Barolo’s most respected family estates. Sourced from six high-elevation estate vineyards in Barolo, Alba, Sinio, and Novello, planted between 1968 and 2004 on chalky marl and sandstone soils.
100% Barbera. Hand-harvested between late September and early October. Native yeast fermentation in stainless steel for 15–20 days with gentle punch-downs and submerged cap. Aged 12–14 months in stainless steel and large, neutral French oak.
Vivid ruby-violet in color. Bright aromas of cherry, wild berries, peppery spice, and herbs. Juicy, fresh, and layered on the palate with vibrant acidity, soft tannins, and a long, savory finish with hints of anise and mineral.
