Jean-Baptiste Adam is a 14th-generation winemaker crafting expressive natural wines from biodynamic vineyards in the village of Ammerschwihr, Alsace. The “Empreinte” series captures each vintage’s unique mark.
100% Pinot Gris. Grown on granite soils and farmed biodynamically (Demeter-certified). Hand-harvested and fermented on skins for 10 days with native yeast. Aged on lees and bottled unfined, unfiltered, with zero added SO₂.
Amber-toned and structured, with notes of alpine herbs, wild stone fruit, blood orange, and tea-like tannins. Bone-dry, savory, and textural with fresh acidity and a mineral finish. An Alsatian orange wine with gravitas.
