Luddite is a small, family-run winery based in Bot River, known for bold, handcrafted wines made with minimal intervention. The “Saboteur” label gives the winemakers creative freedom beyond varietal labeling.

Grapes are sourced from dry-farmed vineyards in the Cape South Coast, including Bot River. A blend of Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in older French oak for 18 months.

Rich and expressive with layers of dark berries, plum, black pepper, and earthy spice. Full-bodied but balanced, with smooth tannins and a long, savory finish. Great with grilled meats, hearty stews, or aged cheeses.
