A focused, small-production white from a single block of Maria Gomes (aka Fernão Pires, a Portuguese varietal) planted in 1987. Thoughtful, minimal-intervention winemaking that honors site and vintage.

100% Maria Gomes (aka Fernão Pires), hand-harvested. Grapes were cooled overnight, destemmed, and cold-soaked on skins for 48 hours. Spontaneous fermentation began as the must naturally warmed. Midway through, wine was drained to old oak and skins basket-pressed by hand. Aged 7 months on lees.

Aromatic and textured, with notes of stone fruit, citrus oil, and wild herbs. Bright acidity balances a layered, leesy palate with a long, savory finish.
