One of Rioja’s most historic and pedigreed single-estate bottlings, produced by the Pérez family. The estate, located in Labastida at the foot of the Sierra de Toloño, was the first in Rioja to bottle estate-only fruit. Organically farmed and made with a focus on precision, freshness, and age-worthiness.
83% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 7% Graciano. Certified organic, high-elevation, estate vineyards. Hand-harvested, native yeast fermentations, and aged 24 months in a mix of used French and American oak barrels.
Layers of dark cherry, plum, and dried fig with notes of leather, tobacco, and wild herbs. Medium to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, bright acidity, and a long, elegant, mineral finish.
