Sandhi, Chardonnay, Central Coast, California, 2024

Sandhi was founded in 2010 by sommelier Rajat Parr and winemaker Sashi Moorman, with a focus on transparent, site-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from coastal vineyards. The wines highlight restraint, balance, and purity over power, with organic farming and minimal intervention guiding the philosophy.

This Chardonnay is sourced from multiple cool-climate sites across the Central Coast: Greengate (27%), Bien Nacido (18%), Spanish Springs (14%), Talley (13%), and Domaine de la Côte (11%). Practicing organic. Fermented in stainless steel with full malolactic conversion, then aged six months in a mix of neutral oak (30%) and stainless steel (70%).

Fresh and vibrant, with citrus, green apple, and subtle stone fruit framed by crisp acidity. The palate is clean and textured, balancing brightness with gentle creaminess, finishing precise and mineral.
