Founded in 1171 by Cistercian monks, Schloss Gobelsburg is one of Austria’s oldest wineries and a benchmark for the Kamptal region. Under Michael Moosbrugger’s stewardship since 1996, the estate follows sustainable and traditional practices, focusing on site expression and balance.

100% Grüner Veltliner sourced from multiple vineyards in Langenlois, planted on loess and clay soils. Fermented and aged in a mix of stainless steel and traditional large Austrian oak casks from the nearby Manhartsberg forest, preserving freshness while adding textural depth.

Bright and precise with notes of green pear, white pepper, and fresh herbs. The palate is lively and focused, with crisp acidity and a clean mineral finish.
